Individual Leadership

Each employee within EM-Assist is expected to embody the following traits:

  • Ethical: We evaluate every decision through an ethical lens before reaching a conclusion and choosing a course of action.
  • Honest: We are open, honest, and trustworthy in all of our dealings with clients and colleagues; we volunteer our true opinion, especially when that opinion differs from the prevailing consensus.

Team Leadership

Each team leader within EM-Assist is expected to exhibit the following behaviors:

  • Leading by example: We consistently exhibit the individual leadership traits expected of each employee; we understand EM-Assist’s client value proposition and mission, vision, and values, and we rely on these as guideposts in making decisions to help us turn understanding into results.
  • Communicating clearly with team members: We align team members around a shared vision by communicating the team’s objectives and establishing clear roles and expectations for each team member.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members: We genuinely care about our team members and personally invest in their development to help them become more successful in their particular roles.
  • Motivating and inspiring team members: We cultivate a culture within our teams that wins each team member’s commitment to the team’s success.
  • Including all team members: We optimize team performance and results by constructively including all team members so that the team as a whole is greater than the sum of its individual parts.
