Wendi, our Human Resources Director, oversees our employee relations and is actively involved in recruiting, compensation, and career development programs. She works with employees in all offices to coordinate EM-Assist’s mentor and wellness programs.

Supporting our People and their Passions:

“During my first year at EM-Assist, I arranged an extended leave to travel to Russia to work in an orphanage in partnership with a non-profit organization called Children's Hopechest. EM-Assist has continued to support my work overseas by being flexible and allowing me to make humanitarian trips like this every year.”

“On my trips to Russia, we spent a week running a summer camp for orphans including a mix of lessons, crafts, and games. We‘ve been fortunate to bring along donated educational supplies, sports equipment and winter gear on each trip. After visiting Russia 4 times, I decided to venture to a different part of the globe and have gone to Peru and the Philippines. I‘ve continued to volunteer time in orphanages as well as community outreach efforts like feedings in poor neighborhoods.

When people ask me why I use all of my vacation time for volunteer efforts that are more like “work” I tell them I‘m just doing my part. After all, there is much to be done and everyone can do something.”
