Module to EDIS
EM-Assist’s Environmental Management System (EMS) module to EDIS is used by clients to achieve their EMS vision, demonstrate ISO 14001 conformance, and accomplish the goals of Executive Orders (EO) 13423 and 13514. It allows its users to implement and maintain agency-specific environmental compliance standards while also facilitating the day-to-day environmental activities at the facility level. The EMS module to EDIS also provides the tools necessary to carry out EMS policies and report on the progress of all environmental management programs.
EM-Assist’s EMS module to EDIS helps clients manage their environmental programs, keep organizational leadership informed with the most current information, mitigate employee turnover costs, and provide accountability to those responsible for carrying out EMS requirements.
EM-Assist’s EMS module to EDIS includes the following features:
- Agency-specific roll-up reporting via mapping, dashboarding, reporting, and charting tools:
- Map view that displays overdue items such as tasks, document reviews, objectives, and targets;
- Dashboard view that displays user-selected significant aspects, the status of objectives, and a completion timeline;
- Reports that display significant aspects and other customizable data;
- Charting capabilities that identify significant aspects by organization, location, and activity;
- Consolidated calendar displays tasks, documents reviews, and other items in customizable calendar view;
- Addition, modification, and deletion of activities and associated aspects and impacts;
- Objectives management that includes association to an aspect, organization(s), applicable requirement(s), location, responsible person(s) or role, and target(s) with objectives percent complete determination based on several user-selectable methods;
- Target management that includes association to an objective, responsible person(s) or role, and task(s);
- Task management that includes association to a target, group of people responsible for completing the task, and person responsible for oversight of the task;
- Searchable document management module;
- Department of Defense metrics data gathering and reporting.
