Module to EDIS
EM-Assist’s Hazardous Materials/Hazardous Waste (HM/HW) module to EDIS is used by clients to track hazardous materials and hazardous waste from cradle-to-grave. Designed by HM/HW professionals with extensive hands-on experience managing HM/HW programs at Department of Defense (DoD) installations and expertise implementing numerous enterprise HM/HW systems for DoD clients, this module leverages all of the power and flexibility of EDIS. It helps clients with purchasing decisions and waste characterization, ensures regulatory compliance, provides visibility into problem areas, and minimizes purchase and disposals costs.
The HM/HW module simplifies management’s reporting needs. This module provides the ability to track critical data such as material and chemical usage, regulatory drivers, waste stream information, and waste manifests. Data is assigned to organizations and locations and can be rolled-up to create a view for management to easily monitor and oversee. EDIS’s mapping capabilities combined with its standard green/amber/red warnings quickly inform management of addressable issues.
EM-Assist’s HM/HW module to EDIS includes the following features:
- Monitors HW generator status and accumulation status
- Notifies users of key events and milestones based on user-configurable thresholds
- Manages HW samples and their analytical results
